Supporting SMEs to accelerate productivity and growth

Wednesday 2nd April 2025, 6pm-8pm | Tradescroft, 1- 4 Clyde Place Lane, Tradeston, Glasgow, G5 8DP

Join us for an exclusive evening reception as part of our 10th anniversary celebration.

An exclusive event in collaboration with Aberdeen Business School RGU, Heriot-Watt University - Edinburgh Business School, University of Dundee School of Business, University of Stirling Management School, Strathclyde Business School and University of the West of Scotland School of Business & Creative Industries.

For the past 10 years, the Small Business Charter, its accredited business schools and our programmes such as Help to Grow: Management have played a vital role in fostering vibrant and dynamic local economies.

Expect insights from our keynote speaker, Director for Scotland at CBI, Michelle Ferguson, who will open the evening with a keynote on the opportunities and challenges for SMEs in Scotland, followed by Professor Eleanor Shaw OBE, Dean, University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School, and Scotland Chair, Chartered Association of Business Schools on unlocking entrepreneurial development in Scotland's SME ecosystem.

We will also hear insights from three business leaders working with our SBC accredited members in Scotland:

  • Hasan Ertekin, Managing Director & Co-founder, Jump N Joy Trampoline Park

  • Ewan MacDonald, Owner & Director, Houston Kiltmakers

  • Bayile Adeoti, Founder, Dechomai Ltd

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with thought leaders, business influencers, and expert business schools and see how we can collectively continue supporting our vibrant small businesses.

Bring your questions to the panel discussion during our interactive Q&A session.

The event is free, but spaces are limited.
